Alicia is an Appalachian author and advocate passionate about protecting public lands, expanding access to mental health care across the Appalachian region, and researching the connections between nature and wellbeing. She made her literary debut in 2026 with her first novel, Rivers and Roads, published by JanCarol Publishing through its imprint Mountain Girl Press.
An avid outdoor recreationist, public lands advocate, and mother, Alicia works to protect natural spaces for future generations. She enjoys hiking, biking, paddling, snowboarding, camping, backpacking, OneWheeling, and just about anything that keeps her immersed in nature.
